Simon Abrams RogerEbert.com The French understand the high value of watching various motor vehicles flip, crash, or otherwise wipe out. Rated: 3/4 May 7, 2025 Full Review Maxance Vincent Awards Radar It could be Netflix's best-kept secret, because once you enter the world of Lost Bullet, you would hope Pierret makes fifteen more of these. Rated: 4/4 Jul 11, 2025 Full Review Fletcher Powell KMUW - Wichita Public Radio [S]ome really good, grimy, car-crunching fun. Jul 10, 2025 Full Review Daniel Gorman In Review Online [A master class] in clean, precise action filmmaking, a tonic for fans of old-school, kinetic mayhem... If this is the end of the series, then it’s going out on a high note. Jun 6, 2025 Full Review JK Sooja Common Sense Media Unfortunately, a unique car creation, car chases, and lots of fighting and shooting don't alone make for a thrilling or compelling movie. May 14, 2025 Full Review Chris Joyce Movies and Munchies (YouTube) The writing believes it is more complex than it is, but if you’re looking for around two hours of impressively hectic vehicle destructiveness and physical brutality, this knows exactly what it is and delivers what it promises. Lloyd S Really terrible and boring. Turned off after 30 minutes in. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/25 Full Review Lowe D I'll say this, it takes a certain amount of pessimism to buy into the belief that no one has seen the first two movies your trilogy. But to do so to such extent, that you recap both prior entries, and reuse the first movie's ending, in the first few minutes of the last part of your trilogy? That's next level. While that may be true? You have to figure a certain amount of investment is required for entry into the Lost Bullet franchise. In other words, you have to figure that anyone genuinely interested in watching the last part of your trilogy? Would also by extension watch the prior two movies if they hadn't already. That much should go without saying. You don't just jump into the last part of a trilogy without watching the prior two films. Then again part of that pessimism may also be owing to the choice of title. Generally speaking few if any movies opt not to label their collective ilogies with anything less than a number tacked on to the first film's title. Though there have been exceptions most notably the Matrix, which never uses any numbers in its titles. But if a movie had already previously chosen to go the numeric title route they don't tend to switch gears to a non-numeric title especially for its last part. The previous entry was in fact titled Lost Bullet 2. All of that is to say The Last Bullet holds that distinction. Its not the first but as its title suggests the last part of a 3 part trilogy of French Action Movies. The first of which was The Lost Bullet. It does provide a conclusion to the trilogy but its hero's throughline has been somewhat muddled by the time this entry has come to a close. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/29/25 Full Review Steve S Although the car chases, fighting and vehicle destruction scenes were actually quite good, there were too many and they lasted far too long. Some of the acting and humour was iffy and the plot was weak but maybe if I'd watched the first two films in the trilogy i might have understood and appreciated it more. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/26/25 Full Review SkyRo P "Last Bullet" is an action film released in 2025, and I initially didn't realize that it was actually titled "Lost Bullet," which is the third installment in a franchise. Unfortunately, it was misnamed on Netflix in the U.S., diverging from its proper title in other regions. At first, I struggled to engage with the movie because I was unfamiliar with the characters and the plot, not knowing it was the third part of a series. I found myself wondering why the story began this way and what I was supposed to already understand. I felt completely lost. However, as I continued to watch, I began to appreciate the film's thrilling action sequences and exciting moments. The dialogue was less frequent than I expected, which helped me follow along without getting too confused. It sparked my interest in the first two films, even though I would be watching them out of order. I now see them as prequels, even if they weren't intended to be. This experience has given me the motivation to explore the earlier films, so I would definitely recommend giving "Last Bullet" a watch. Check it out and see what you think! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/13/25 Full Review Pongo K Lot of talking, but very good action. You HAVE to see the otter Bullet movies first. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/09/25 Full Review Chris F Plot difficult to follow. Need to watch the first two films first of all. If you're into car chases it's worth a look. Otherwise, don't bother.
