Extra points to Gass-Donnelly for setting most of his scares during the daytime; even some of the familiar conventions of the genre (mazes, kids' lullabies, terror-fraught cornfields) seem fresh in the light of day.

Not my typical genre but I was pleasantly surprised with Lavender. Admittedly, it did have a few lulls - as I feel most movies today have w/ our limited attention spans - Abbie, Diego, and the somewhat star-studded cast (hello Justin Long??) help to ease these moments with their performances. Really enjoyed that the plot didn’t fully unravel until the actual last moments of the film. [Also, a great recommendation if you are looking for a suspense/thriller movie but might be with someone who isn’t a fan or gets scared easily - I’d say it ultimately gives the viewer a full circle movie with a satisfying (and weirdly happy) ending.]

So dumb. Waste of time. Nothing happens. The “plot” begins at the last 5mins of the movie. An hour and a half waiting for something to happen. Waste of time. I never post a review but wow, total waste of time. The “plot” isn't even a plot, so dumb. Waste of time is the nicest way I can put it. Wanted to be nice and save you the time. -0 review.

Achei o filme "ok" ! Até pq ,sinceramente ,não sei o que o diretor queria fazer aqui ,um filme religioso ? Um terror Psico ? Drama infantil? Temas sensíveis? What? Sério, eu senti mais imcomodo do enredo desse filme do que das próprias cenas de suspense que também pelo amor kskskks Cade o suspense ? Juro que tava tentando entrar no clima mistério, mais a direção deu pistas do que se tratava logo no começo do filme ,então.... Mais um filme com uma direção um pouco confusa no que queria abordar,o único ponto que quero exaltar é o o drama da personagem e muito intrigante mesmo, de resto é só isso !
