The premise was interesting but the execution poor. The truth appears by pure chance —no real investigation is done, no interviews, no searching through archives. All Jane has to do to recover her repressed memories is to receive mysterious gift boxes and wander through the old house. This exercise is slow and ultimately predictable, because the plot gives many early signs at what the final resolution would be.
