Audience Member This is a sweet, sentimental, dramatic story of a man and his strangely adopted daughter. It's also got some humor, so it's an enjoyable movie, and I liked it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Tender, moving, funny. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Yes. The subject matter..... it gets creepy toward the end. But there's just so much good going for it. Before the creepiness, it establishes a very genuine and sweet father/daughter relationship. And the earliest scenes with Zasu Pitts are extremely effective. And it's a Borzage movie, so you can expect some unique and beautiful storytelling techniques.
