If you are watching these movies what more do you expect than a guy and the girl like each other, there is a major conflict, near breakup, heartache (but not too much) and then they get back together and live happily ever after. This one was a bit different though and that’s a good thing. I loved the blending of the two holiday traditions and the differences between the two cultures. Leah’s Perfect Christmas had a higher production value as it seemed better than a lot of them. (Bigger budget maybe?) The lighting/ makeup / wardrobe perhaps? It had a lot of comedy bits that I loved and also the over the top nature. It was a fun holiday light and easy movie. Good for watching with kids or while doing your holiday baking. However, Connecticut has the stereotype that everyone here is snobbish and rich, and that’s 100% not true at all!! 😂 I very strongly disliked the mother at first, she was super rude and obnoxious in the first half of the movie but then somehow did a 360 personality change? And the boyfriend was clueless of Leah’s feelings most of the time. Overall okay Hallmark movie, but they have made better ones for sure.
