Over the course of a year, 12 diverse Christian leaders struggle to find hope and fellowship at a series of boundary-breaking retreats in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Brought together by Michael Gulker of The Colossian Forum, five women and seven men explore some of today's most contentious issues. The divisions between them become apparent and test both their common belief in the universal importance of love and kindness and the bonds they build over the course of a year.

Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com Leap of Faith is exactly that - a leap of faith, a calling of sorts into choosing love over not just via some artsy t-shirt but by wrestling with the conflicts, taking off the masks, choosing to be present, and willing to be transformed. Rated: 3.5/4.0 Oct 18, 2024 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Provocative and timely, but tedious and incomplete. Oct 6, 2024 Full Review Christopher Llewellyn Reed Film Festival Today "Leap of Faith" features stunning cinematography (shot by four different camera people). Even the interiors showcase beautiful compositions and lighting. It makes for an engaging visual side to what is frequently a talk-filled movie. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 3, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Eric Leap of Faith was thoughtful, raw and powerful. The pastors that opened up their lives to us as they go through the tough emotional and spiritual process of dealing with their beliefs was moving. The production of this documentary is spectacular, Grand Rapids has never looked better- and the soundtrack is spectacular. Challenge yourself and go support this film- thank you to everyone who made this project a reality!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/31/24 Full Review Wendell Fry It’s one thing to have a forum for discussion, but Jesus and the Holy Sprit were not at the center. You can say prayers or you can pray with and from God’s heart…it’s fruitless to ask God to clarify what is already clear in His word but that you hope He might support what you hope it means…the Word is the center, and we change to it…and still love unconditionally by it! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/11/24 Full Review Lanny S Can't recommend. About ONE subject, and really doesn't talk about God.... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/30/24 Full Review Leslie B This documentary is basically the highlights from a year long symposium comprised of 12 ministers with varying backgrounds and beliefs dealing with a variety of timely topics. The film mostly deals with the same-sex marriage issue. We found it riveting and would like to see it again. Lots to think about. We were not alone in moving from tears to laughter during the film. (Don't understand the reviewers who commented on the lack of scripture - which was not the point of the film - unless they are the Leviticus brigade.) Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/16/24 Full Review Isaiah D Its trailer looked so good, and as a person who lives 10 minutes away from the town it was filmed in i thought id give it a try and support a local movie. This movie sucks, i got bored after 10 minutes and it felt like a hell for the rest of it. The cinematography was awful, they had the worst shots and angles. I did enjoy seeing the cool murals ive never seen before in grand rapids but the movie wasnt very good. I somewhat enjoyed the message but i wish that they also would talk about politics, i feel like thats another thing that tears the US apart. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/29/24 Full Review Olivia L Very thought provoking film highlighting the work that still needs to be done within the Christian organization to be more inclusive. It's a great start to the convo that feels approachable to a wider audience. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/20/24 Full Review Read all reviews
