When aspiring hip-hop performers Butch (Red Grant), Postmaster P. (Anthony Montgomery) and Stray Bullet (Rashaan Nall) cross record producer Mack Daddy (Ice-T), their grudge against him leads to their own peril. After they break into Mack Daddy's home and swipe an ancient medallion from a grotesque statue, the evil Leprechaun (Warwick Davis) is freed from his magical prison. Soon the sinister little man is on the trail of Butch, Postmaster P. and Stray Bullet, along with Mack Daddy himself.

This movie enters the realm of so bad it’s good. The cheap production design, bad acting, and the aggressively corny rhyming dialogue all make this to be a great movie to mock with friends.

They changed the lore yet again, they added a flute for this one! Thankfully this is easily the best leprechaun movie even if it isn’t good. The first act was surprisingly entertaining and actually engaged me. For a leprechaun movie it’s actually written quite well with likeable characters, complexity to the story and something original for a b-movie. I appreciate that they referenced the first movie with the four leaf clover. Just because it’s the best leprechaun movie doesn’t mean it’s a good movie, there are severe pacing issues, average acting, a very nineties look (which some may like), a rather uncharismatic one-dimensional antagonist and unfunny comedy that just hammers its joke amongst other issues. But actually overall I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Also the leprechaun rap at the end was actually awesome.

I thought this move was more comedy than horror, also it’s funny how bad the main characters (except Leprechaun and Ice T) were at acting. But overall not as bad as some in the franchise.
