Alain (Serge Riaboukine) is a middle-aged café owner who, despite living in the midst of a crime-ridden and drug-fueled Parisian street, has managed to keep his nose clean -- until, that is, the young, beautiful but dangerous Marie (Marina Golovine) bursts into his life and begs for his help tracking down the men who murdered her brother Antoine (Mathieu Demy). Now this regular businessman must find a way to survive in the Paris underworld while he seeks vengeance.
