Danielle White Austin Chronicle There's a building toward the inevitable, but it's not boring/predictable. It's more like a presentiment that has you saying, "No, no, no, no" under your breath with each new awful thing. Rated: 2.5/5 Mar 21, 2019 Full Review Brad Wheeler Globe and Mail And while fans of the genre will absolutely appreciate the surreal gloom, for most others Level 16 will come in at a level below an average Twilight Zone episode. Rated: 2/4 Mar 15, 2019 Full Review Robert Abele Los Angeles Times But as it sputters toward its curtain-exposing conclusion, "Level 16" stays disappointingly thin, both as a dark-future cautionary saga and a genre exercise. Mar 1, 2019 Full Review Andrea Beach Common Sense Media The mostly feminist themes explored in Level 16 have been pretty well explored elsewhere, so there's not much new here. Rated: 3/5 Sep 1, 2023 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse Mixing elements of social justice, horror and sci fi, Level 16 is a genre movie that delivers both intellectually and emotionally. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 4, 2021 Full Review Joey Keogh Wicked Horror Level 16 is about atmosphere rather than all-out scares, and it's much to the story's credit that we remain on the hook right up until the end. Alyssa P fantastic movie. wish the version i watched included russian translations but not a huge loss, still easy to understand the film. loved the social commentary. insane that "clean girl aesthetic" has become a trend, clearly unrelated to the movie but with the exact same values- emphasis on skincare, dressing simply and modestly, "demure." genuinely fantastic. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/23/24 Full Review Audience Member Wie "die Insel" nur ohne Handlung, Charakteren oder Spannung Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/24/24 Full Review Mark B I low budget movie that works for the most part. The 1st two acts keep your interest and build tension well. Intrigued to see where this is going. The 3rd act does not quite fully work. There are some things when they try to wrap it up that just don't hold water, but at 90 minutes it is definitely worth a watch. The make the most with a small budget and limited set pieces. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/24 Full Review Buzdug M Great idea, great movie. People today are brainwashed and they don't even know it. By religions, by governments...by sistem . Sleeping people, impossible to be awaken Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/29/23 Full Review Tele S Friend recommended it to me and I was hooked from the beginning loved it 5 stars 🌟 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/27/23 Full Review Jay P Decent. It could have been way better. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
