Audience Member I adored the movie as much as Baricco's book 'City'. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A totally weird film. This could easily have been a 15-20 minute documentary on Beethoven's 9th to give another perspective on it. The film discusses the 9th from the viewpoint that it is one of the most overrated works in history. Pacing is what kills this film. There are good chunks but they are drowned out by large sections where nothing really happens. SUMMARY: Skip this. A sad waste of John Hurt. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Good documentary account of the story behind George Bush's 're-election' to the Presidency. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Oniric and visionary, Lezione 21 is an authentic overlooked gem. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member really interesting. i didnt exactly understand what alessandro baricco was exactly trying to say, but then again i think he really just wanted to disect the 9th symphony of beethoven. there is some great surrealism in this, and the "interviews" were really great. i think what made this movie enjoyable was that it was purely an artfilm, but without over-doing it with "ooh ya i really just want this to be really artsy cuz it can be" Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member A disjointed acid trip with gorgeous scenery and no story line or center. Gigantic waste of creativity and resources. And time! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
