Graeme Tuckett Stuff.co.nz Liberated: The New Sexual Revolution is a horror film, in the guise of a socially conscious documentary. It also slips far too often into exactly the objectifying and leering behaviour it pretends to be condemning. Jan 30, 2023 Full Review Phil Guie Film-Forward.com As much as the experts harp on the idea that young people fail to appreciate each other's depths, the director himself is guilty of those same offenses. David F This documentary tags along as a group of boys go on Spring Break in Panama City Beach and a pair of girls go to Mexico, revealing all kinds of contemporary mores about youth and sexuality. It's an interesting and serious film about fun today. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Brilliant! A much-needed critique of our sexualised culture. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Kinda eye-opening to be honest. I think it helps people who have experienced Spring Break and helps invoke thoughts of how to stay safe. I also think it would be good educationally for people who haven't experienced Spring Break (other countries, cultures, etc...). Pretty cool documentary over all. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is incredible. The heart behind the movie to show how hook up culture is robbing our generation of true love & connection. A must watch for sister, girlfriends, university students. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member This is an important snapshot of first world decline. It points to the mechanism behind meaningless sex and hints at similar issues such as the rise of 'fail' videos and people filming rather than helping in a crisis. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member There Was Very Thought-Provoking Material Here From The Interviewed Experts On Social Norms Of Sex Going Through Drastic Change. It Certainly Made Me Stop & Reflect. The Culture Was Highlighted With A Focus In The USA..ItnCould Have Possibly Spoken To A Broader Array Of People, English Blokes Pretending To Be Australian To Score Girls From The USA Was Not A Great Focus Point. The Epilogue Also Gave No Long-Lasting Solution Other Than To "Be Yourself" In The Face Of Extreme Peer Pressure. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
