Critics Consensus

Life is just thrilling, well-acted, and capably filmed enough to overcome an overall inability to add new wrinkles to the trapped-in-space genre.

This sci-fi shocker sticks closely to the Alien playbook, down to the intimately acquainted, flatly characterized crew and the scenes of chaos, panic, and overlapping dialogue. Go to Full Review

Eswaran W 2d An under rated movie, that is certainly worth a watch. A terrific cast. The ending alone warrants praise. See more Marilo N 5d Just cheesy and predictable, just like a cheep thriller where every stupid thing a person shouldn’t do, is exactly what they then does. See more Michael M. @mickeysamo Oct 24 It's like Alien, but bland See more Arthur D Oct 12 I enjoyed the movie because the acting was solid and the plot featured some unexpected twists. While the ending wasn’t particularly surprising, it was satisfying—unlike other films that leave things unresolved. At least this one delivered a conclusion with a twist. See more Rebecca S. @Becca01 Oct 1 The plot of this film is certainly one of its strongest elements, building a compelling and interesting narrative from the start. It successfully draws you in, presenting a series of challenging obstacles and high stakes that demand significant sacrifices from the characters. The entire middle section is gripping, maintaining tension and making those sacrifices feel earned and impactful. However, the film stumbles significantly with its conclusion. After so much build-up, drama, and immense sacrifice, the ending felt like a disappointing letdown. It was not what I expected—or perhaps, it was simply unsatisfying. The resolution seemed to undermine the entire effort, leaving a lingering sense that all the characters' hard work, pain, and loss ultimately didn't matter. While I appreciated the journey, the film left me feeling that too much was sacrificed for a payoff that wasn't worth the cost. It's a fascinating watch, but be prepared for an ending that might leave you cold. See more Thalles F Sep 14 This movie is very good. A nice sci-fi thriller. I absolutely recommend it.
