Decent casting, but garbage script. Lots of people doing stupid things to move the plot forward. Mobsters that are supposed to be clever doing idiotic things, cops acting like they have no training in procedure or field tactics. Written and directed obviously by someone that over their head keeping things accurate enough to not be distracting or frustrating.

I liked it. Anya Taylor-Joy is intriguing as an actress. The story, although disjointed, was an escape and better than many other TV series.

Lucky is an exhausting and frustrating watch from start to finish. Burdened by clunky dialogue, heavy-handed overacting, and a completely nonsensical plot, the show completely squanders a cast that feels mediocre at best. It's a hollow thriller that relies entirely on characters making absurd decisions just to keep going-making it a tough slog for anyone looking for sharp writing.
