01/31/2018 Life Guidance delivers a bleak insight into a dystopian future that has already begun. With its impressively gloomy visuals and the strong world building the movie features a surprisingly oppressive atmosphere. This, however, is not reflected in the plot's structure, its pacing, and the performances of the characters; combined, these aspects fail to build up tension and to help the viewer draw conclusions from the jumbled narrative.
