Alex K I love this movie but it actually sucks kinda I would never say that Like Minds sucks and that I don't like it Like Minds sucks and I like it SO MUCH Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review sy A suspenseful watch - not too tame nor horrific, but engaging in its dark storyline and presentation. Toni Collette and a younger Eddie Redmayne are both compelling in their roles. A decent psychological thriller I'd rate alongside films such as 'Fractured'. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/26/23 Full Review Regina P I wasn't bored. Sociopaths are almost always interesting to watch. It just felt like it tried too hard to be some profound, intellectual thriller. It was annoying, actually. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/24/23 Full Review Med L I watched this movie simply for the stars. However the plot was actually quite good-especially for the twists. Sorry to see such low ratings because I know I'll watch it again-to get every nuance. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Ian Solid movie, complex, good acting. It reminds me of a mix of Donnie Darko and As You Are. Plus Tom Sturridge is absurdly attractive. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/13/22 Full Review Audience Member Interesting to watch the young Eddie Redmayne give an outstanding and disturbing performance within the boundaries of a slightly confusing and implausable plot. A strong supporting cast and some nice gothic touches can't clarify the rather murky motivations of the young antogonists. Richard Kuipers Variety Armed with more imagination than most thrillers with teen protags, Oz-U.K. co-prod Like Minds is an intriguing whodunit centered on two privileged British schoolboys with an unhealthy interest in the Knights Templar. Jun 4, 2007 Full Review Independent (UK) For about 20 minutes, this psychological thriller seems to know what it's doing. Rated: 1/5 May 11, 2007 Full Review Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) Quite, quite ludicrous in every way. May 11, 2007 Full Review Andrew L. Urban Urban Cinefile Jun 4, 2007 Full Review James Mottram Film4 The type of film that will be looked back on as a notable starting point for its young star, Like Minds is a perfect showcase for his talent, but less so for writer-director Read, who allows the script to career out of control in the second half.
