Audience Member 2.5/5.0 stars - Grade: C Videodrome meets Showgirls? It was worth a shot. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member hello My name is Christopher Blackwell . My Favorite movie of all time is a low budget film called "Liquid Dreams ". The Film was directed by Mark Manos & was made in 1991. the film stars 2 former soap stars. Candace Daly from "the young & the restleless & Richard Steinmetz from "Loving". Candace Daly plays Eve Black, a woman from Kansas who's looking to start her life over. Eve decieds to move in with her sister Tina. Tina lives in a high rise like dormatory, where they film an erotic cable channel called "N.V." which stands for Neurovid. Eve discover her sisters's dead body in her apt. Eve meets a series of bizare Characters & events in the apt building. Eve goes undercover with the help of Leutenet Frank Radino (Richard Steinmetz) to investigate her sisters bizar death. Eve soon beacomes the new rising stra of N.V. Eve starts to discover many creepy & campy mysteries concerning her sisters death. This film is really wierd and has a very lonely feeling to it. Director Mark Manos sets the film in the near future. He creates a film with a dark mood to it.The film has been compared to the Cult Classics "videodrome" & Liquid sky". Unfortunatly this film has been highly overlooked & has yet to generate much cult film buzz. My goal is to try to change this. I would love to hear some feedback from this film. Whether it being good or bad. I would also love to know some trivia from this film if any one is out they can help write me.
