Something is amiss in the small backwater town of Stillwater. The protector of the woods, an eccentric old lady, purposely calls her granddaughter to come visit her using a road she knows is plagued by wolves and will get her killed. She burys the granddaughter with a cape and sword, then succumbs to the wolves too. The local sheriff knows something is up when townsfolk start dropping like flies from wolf attacks; but these are no ordinary wolves (bigger, stronger, two sets of teeth). The sheriff, the posse of civilians and the new protector of the woods must come together, along with a SWAT team, to put things right again.
