Demented N People slating this movie you have seen the other nessies movies avaliable right? which is very few less than 5. Well trust me this is a 5 star movie compared to the garbage that's out their with a beautiful soundtrack. Just to name one of the bad ones Terror at Loch Ness. Spoiler /Plot Ted Danson is a scientific cryptozoologist and collage professor who is renowned for his work in locating the Yetty! Down on his luck for some reason with money problems we don't really know why per say but it is hinted a gready ex wife turned him to drink and gambling he also seams to avoid paying his debts by using the gift of the gab, down on his luck, his boss a bigger collage professor gives him a way out and a big pay out! Go to Scotland and prove loch ness isn't real nor could lochnness house a beastie. In the process he falls in love with the owner of the BnB he is staying at, and the owners shy lonely little girl really likes him too only to tell him I can show you nessie. The young girl brings Ted to see nesssie when she feels she can trust him. When he sees nessie with the little girl he keeps it a secret and the mystery is kept a mystery till the end of time just how it should be. Side note eveyone in the town dose not take well to the fast talking American. Con: Could of been a bit better and more action Pros: Real Scottish Actresses and acutley flimed in Scotland not a make shift Hollywood Set. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Steve D Even the kids will be unamused, Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member The funniest fantasy movie ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Too underrated. It's no masterpiece, but it's a cute movie with a surprisingly poignant message about being in harmony with the ecological world. The Jim Henson creature effects for Nessie were impressive for the time and it was fun seeing Ted Danson in a role like this. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review jonathan m first off just to let people know Ted Danson is a great actor but in this movie he's trying to prove the non existence of Nessie but ends up proving it is real but tells no one to show his love for a mother and daughter who over the movie has fallen for. The movie is a nice little gem and it came out at the right time when there was a lot of commotion about Nessie. It stands alone as being one of the best Nessie movies ever created and I do mean that because the other movies were terrible the only thing good about one of the other movies is the artwork for the poster Loch Ness terror. it was quite nice to see the locations and it was actually filmed in Scotland. the movie is lighthearted and shouldn't be taken seriously it was originally meant to be a TV movie but they're released it in the cinema. I have given this movie four stars because it is the best Nessie movie ever created you could say the water horse but I didn't like that too much CGI. There is no doubt in my mind that Nessie is real or was real because we know the creature explained in descriptions existed so it's not really hard to see that maybe one time he did exist. You take an endangered specie now who possibly only has a population of 100 like the white Rhinos or something what if Nessie were in a similar situation with even less. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Lots of rubbish Scottish accents and awkward moments. Apart from that it's not a bad film. Gets a bit boring at times though and is a bit formulaic. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
