Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express A desi rom com with flavour and zing. Rated: 3/5 Apr 24, 2015 Full Review Anupama Chopra Hindustan Times Too often, [director Anu] Menon resorts to formulaic character traits, so if Nikhil is a pretentious film school student, he must have a goatee and refer to Andrei Tarkovsky. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 24, 2015 Full Review Robert Abele Los Angeles Times Menon puts such total faith in her stars' ability to draw us into their emotional ups and downs that the simplistic nature of the touristy setup -- and the conventions of their romance -- escapes her. Mar 5, 2012 Full Review Avijit Ghosh The Times of India It probably won't move you to tears, but one thing is for sure -- after traveling across the globe, this one won't leave you jet-lagged. Audience Member This movie still contains the traditional way of Bollywood movie making- Dance in the middle of no way. BUT, the style leans more towards to western- costumes and camera works. Eyes catching casting- Actress is very beautiful and the actor is smart looking. The conflicts are however solved too quickly imo. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member One of those formulaic, cliche rom-com with no uniqueness of its own. The acting was surprisingly unconvincing, though I have to admit the leads complimented each other. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member A very good movie indeed. Ali Zafar has proved himself as a lovely singer as well as an amazing actor. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review saad k London Paris New York - Trash It (C+) A boy meets girl and fall in love in one day and they meet for only one day in span of 5 to 6 years in London, Paris & New York. In today's digital world it's hard to image that they don't keep in touch with each other just because she said so... The script is flawed from beginning to end The Boy remains almost the same but the Girl from Naive in London, Evil in Paris and then turned into Nicest in New York. There are moments which are really good but bad music & tedious pace of the movie makes it really boring to sit through. Ali Zafar is a charmer but not that great of an actor he made me bore. Aditi Rao is great in portraying three different shades of her character though sadly there is not much thought about it she falls in love takes revenge and then forgives easily. Anyways if you want to watch it, you can watch for Ali Zafar & Aditi's chemistry but its tedious overall. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not interesting at all. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought it quite sweet. Zafar managed to just up the stakes for Romance heroes in Bollywood with his unrealistically wonderful character. Don't go in expecting an exercise along the lines of Before Sunrise or After Sunset, and you might be pleasantly surprised. Screw the foreign critics. They're probably confused because the film's neither completely Bollywood-y nor the kind of seasoned American chick flick Rachel McAdams and Ashton Kutcher dole out in huge doses.
