Unlike any Franchise I’ve ever seen, a Masterful Fourth installment to the Lone Wolf and Cub Film Series. I don’t question why there was six movies in this series at All. Each installment has been more engaging and action packed! Performances and changing of color in scenes added depth to narration, cinematography and storytelling is superb and near perfection! A wild twist near the end but expectional plot! Disclaimer: Lone Wolf and Cub is not for children, it’s a hard R rated, viewer discretion is advised.

Another excellent entry in the "Lone Wolf and Cub" saga that finds the father/son duo tracking a tattooed female assassin. Wakayama continues his superb work as Ogami while Tomikawa continues to show new shades as Daigoro, especially when he is separated from his father. Behind the camera, director Buichi Saito delivers a solid revenge epic, especially with the secret behind the female assassin is revealed. Overall, another solid samurai film.

This one was tedious and I lost interest. It was similar to the others though, so it might be your thing. Saw on HBO.

Does he live, Or.. Does Ogami die?.. I would like to think he did or didnt either at the end of this, Or the last movie i reviewed 'lone wolf and cub in the land of demons'. ..Also i couldnt feel whether to laugh or feel sad from the battered look on ogamis face, Priceless somehow.
Shove black panther movie-copies into a stump-grinder, The worst movie ever made.

Ogami is once again put through a perilous trial with the crazy end sequence. In this one he meets his equal, whom he shames and defeats in a duel, only to leave him alive, left to plot his revenge. Also features the beautiful, vicious, topless, tattooed sword-master. will Ogami fight her, or fall in love?

After spending a few movies on the lam, picking up odd jobs and dispatching would-be assassins, wandering ronin Ogami Itt? gets back to the business of stalking his real enemy: Retsudo Yagy?, who dishonored Ogami's name and orchestrated his wife's murder. The two finally cross swords this time (with consequences for both), but not before Itt? deals with a disgraced, grudge-bearing former rival, a femme fatale with curious tattoos, a corrupt local official (complete with his own private army) and a host of explosive-lobbing foot soldiers. And, for once, the harsh lifestyle has taken a toll on our swordsman: the lone wolf that stumbles away from the battlefield at the end of this film is a far cry from the one who stoically, almost carelessly, dealt with blade-flinging challengers at its onset. Stuffed with fascinating, well-rounded new characters, unique fight scenes, badass acts of heroism and gallons of bright red spray, it's incredible that the final running time comes in just short of ninety minutes. Feels like there's enough depth, and enough story, to have stretched for twice as long.
