Audience Member "I've been accused of bad taste, and I'll go down to my grave accused of it and always by the same people, the ones who eat in restaurants that reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." "I'm sorry I haven't been funny. I am not a comedian. I am Lenny Bruce." Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A truly thought provoking look at the single most important comedian of all time: Lenny Bruce, and how his struggle with the law resonates today in our overtly politically correct world. While it doesn't delve that much into Lenny himself, it does feature outstanding interviews with many people who were influenced by him or knew him. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Great look at the career and life of Lenny Bruce, the comedian who made it possible or most of modern day comedy's more risky comedians. His observations on homosexuality, segregation and 1940-1960s society. The doc uses famous faces from comedy and popular culture. Unfortunately Lennys comedy does give some ranting comedians like Michael Richards and Lisa Lampenelli a justification for what they see ask good comedy, which it is not!!!
