It's a clever portrait of masculine drift, approached in sly and sidelong fashion: as background to the peaceful days of two happy mammals who never give thought to the approaching and encircling flies. Go to Full Review

Los Reyes is a charming, calming film, though it's also somewhat one-note... Go to Full Review

The directors avoid symbolism or didacticism, and instead immerse us in a sense of life lived at the languid pace of an afternoon daydream. Go to Full Review

An unorthodox observational documentary that requires the viewer to settle into its laid-back rhythm. Go to Full Review

A documentary starring two street dogs is, without a doubt, an authentic rarity... The result is not only surprising but fascinating as well. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Kevin L @Lakeman Feb 23 Los Reyes was entertaining for about 30 min. or so, then it got monotonous. The dogs were a funny pair, just doing dog things as teenage boys talk idiot teenage boys trash. I like how the one dog needs s/thing in its jaws most of the time. The short haired one is clearly the 'smart one', as it decides what's to happen, if anything, with the tennis ball. Not sure what became more one-note tedious, though- the dogs or the boys. Nah, it was the boys. 2.8 stars See more dave d 11/10/2020 It's a documentary film with very little dialogue and a whole lot of two dogs, Chola and Football. The duo live in a skate park in Santiago, Chile. We get to experience life from a dog's perspective and it's fun, sad, and a breeze. If you like dogs, it will be hard to imagine anyone not enjoying the 78 minute feature. It often comes off more as a nature documentary, especially as the flies are introduced. Well executed, but very hard to find. Final Score: 8.0/10 See more 03/24/2019 An affective, realistic (it's a documentary after all) love story about two dogs and the skatepark theyï¿ 1/2 1/2(TM)re in charge of. There are also some sex (sort of), drugs (talked about), and even a little rock&roll. See it if you're a dog person. See more 01/27/2019 Pseudo art wit annoying endless repeating close ups.
