Kimber Myers Los Angeles Times The teen comedy "Loserville" from freshman filmmaker Lovell Holder offers its audience a SparkNotes version of high school: It skims over relevant details and lacks deep insight when it comes to plot and character. Sep 29, 2016 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member A roller coaster of adolescent emotion fueled by such genuine comedy it will leave you in tears. From heartfelt laughter, poignant memories of your own teendom, or both--who cares? This is a film for anyone who remembers what it means to be an insider/outsider teen and everything in between. Love, love, love this movie! Loserville is a winner. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member I just like that's kind of movies they show u how it's possible to overcome any thing if u have someone by your side Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Great film with so much packed into less than an hour and a half! The team gets a treasured find in Sarah Jes Austell whose character is built with such nuance that I cannot wait to see what is next from her. The film crafts a smorgasbord of moments and experiences that push the typical high school drama with great plot twists and laughter. The Drama teacher's magical turn is worth replaying this film over and over again. Wonderful ensemble cast that also boasts some familiar faces from Shondaland! Absolutely see this film! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is a real charmer - watched it over the weekend with my teenage niece, and wasn't expecting us to both be laughing, but we did! Lots of funny characters, and I appreciated that all the women in the film had a lot of depth (in addition to being funny). After her initial comments on how cute the boys were, my niece then also got deeply invested in the film's conflict between the two sisters. We both might have cried at the end, just saying... All in all, a smart movie that anyone will find characters to identify with. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Saw Darby Stanchfield talking about this film on Home and Family so I decided to watch it with my two teenage daughters. We loved it. The sisters relationship was so realistic and after the film we had a great talk about bullying and peer pressure. This is a great film for parents to watch with their teens! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Watched this film in Cherry Hill, NJ. I guess it's one of two theaters showing the film which sort of sucks because it's a really great film and I think a lot of kids would benefit from seeing it. Going to take my friends back this weekend so they can finally see a film that talks about what we are really going through. Plus they have a kick-ass twitter account that really interacts with the fans of the cast and producer Sara Ramirez!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
