If you’ve been swarmed with TikToks or posts of your friends on envious foreign vacations, Love & Gelato is a great way to microdose on Europe. If you’re looking for a unique story, well, maybe go watch something else.

Eu achei bem bacana. É um romance adolescente, estilo que realmente não me atrai. O que me atraiu foram as incontáveis cenas pela Itália (quase no filme inteiro) que são de tirar o fôlego, e o fato de que há uma história no pano de fundo por trás do romance da garota protagonista, e esta história foi mostrada de forma muito bonita. Enfim, apesar das baixas notas, eu - já com 42 dos anos de idade e bem longe de romances adolescentes - gostei. P.S.: a relação adolescente é mostrada - o que forma a história do romance principal, porém sempre com a interação de adultos ao redor, o que forma algo mais profundo, sutil e muito bonito; e é essa colaboração da garota com os adultos ao lado que na verdade forma o motivo da viagem da protagonista nos primeiros minutos da trama à Itália. (não é spoiler)

"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." - Pretty much me with these ridiculous Netflix romantic comedies. This movie was a horrendous mess. Awful F-list casting, tasked with bringing some small amount of light to a bland and lifeless script filled with completely predictable turns that have been done a million times before.
