Joni B The acting across the board was superb. The movie depicts two sweet love stories. The mother and an old friend strike up a heterosexual relationship, but the main relationship is between the daughter and another woman. I loved the line the mom spoke when she realized that her daughter was dating the woman who was her doctor. The mom was in the hospital, and she blurted out, "My daughter's dating a doctor." There was shock and surprise in her voice, followed by a big smile with pride showing in her eyes. The movie also shows a loving community and a brother anyone would be proud to have. Yes, it's sappy. Yes, it doesn't go beyond kisses. No bare shoulders with sheets pulled up to suggest sex, etc. But it is a feel-good movie. And while not everyone in the LGBTQ+ community has such a loving family and community, it is nice every now and then to see it because there are good people out there. There are loving parents. And I can only hope that those families who are on the line come to realize that love is love. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/29/23 Full Review Alan K Stiff treacly dialogue. Sounds like it was written by a student in a college writing class who has lots to learn about creating a natural sounding dialogue. Don't waste your time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/26/23 Full Review becca p It's an easy watch with a great cast. I really enjoyed it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I really love it! The cast done and great job. There is so much chemistry between the actress (Katherine McNamara and Arienne Mandi) and the story is beautiful and emotional. I just want to thank Hallmark for his masterpiece. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It's cute! Nice to see some change in the cast for a hallmark movie, Melora Hardin and Kat McNamara were a good choice! Great lgbtq representation - love that it's nothing too much on the nose, just a regular story! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
