LTAM Despite the beautiful Italian scenery and the efforts of the Danish actors, this film totally missed its goal. And you would completely blame the A-actor Pierce Brosnan for that. His portrayal of Philip, the high achiever businessman who falls for the working class hairdresser, was everything but convincing. The two stars for this film, go entirely to his antagonist, Trine Dyrholm. By the end of the film you still hope that sweet Ida will find true love; Don't be fooled by that lemon-guy, darling! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/19/22 Full Review Audience Member A lovely Danish film, set in Copenhagen and Sorrento, Italy. Trine Dyrholm and Pierce Brosnan shine. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review lynne s I really enjoyed this film. Good chemistry between Trine and Pierce, stunning scenery and an uplifting film with a good story line. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I love this movie, great performances by Trine, and Pierce! A must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member An amusing, gentle and warm love story with beautiful scenery, much better than the usual romcom. I really wanted everything to turn out right in the end! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review candice e This movie has it all: beautiful scenery, characters that you'll love and hate. It's touching and funny, with a beautiful ending. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Deborah Ross The Spectator A romantic comedy that isn't romantic or comic or much of anything. Sep 4, 2018 Full Review Anna Smith [Susanne] Bier's intelligent direction, smart screenplay and canny casting make it a cut above your average middle-aged wish-fulfilment romance. Rated: 4/5 Sep 5, 2017 Full Review Meredith Slifkin Film Comment Magazine Buffeted by languorous Italian vistas and the emotional depth of the characters, the film falls more into the Nancy Meyers camp of rom com, in which relatable late-in-life romances are played out against sumptuous settings. Jun 14, 2013 Full Review Marya E. Gates Cool People Have Feelings, Too. (Substack) You can probably figure out where this film goes from there, but the journey is filled with such charm and the two have such wonderful chemistry I think you’ll enjoy it anyways. Feb 13, 2024 Full Review Katie Smith-Wong Flick Feast Love Is All You Need is a different strand of romantic comedy that has been missing for some time; sweet, heartwarming and utterly dysfunctional. Rated: 4/5 Nov 21, 2019 Full Review Nicholas Bell Don't go into Love Is All You Need expecting to be surprised or provoked. Go into it to experience the gifts of its lovely leading lady.
