Synopsis
Allison (Chloe Webb) is a mentally handicapped young woman who lives with her kind, supportive older sister, Kari (Amy Madigan), a struggling artist, after their mean-spirited and verbally abusive mother (Olympia Dukakis) abandons them, unwilling to take care of Allison's needs. But after Allison wins a large payout in the state lottery, the sisters' mother sweeps back into their lives, claiming that she's ready to resume taking care of her now-rich daughter.
