Ted B @Movieaddicted Feb 21 3.0 stars; As a product of the 50s, I remember how the family reserved Monday nights to watch *I Love Lucy*. It was joyous. Even as a kid, I recognized that this wasn't real life, but the show brought so much laughter it didn't really matter. Later, as I learned the background story about the true relationship between Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, it was a little painful that real life didn't match that joyous TV show. This film brings back a little bit of that pain. Rachel York did a very good job of matching Lucy's mannerisms and voice, so much so that she started to look like her. See more Read all reviews
