There may be too much crammed in here... and Luminarias too often relies on coincidence and cliché to keep things moving. And yet it's wonderful to see adult women... portrayed so positively onscreen.

For those who always ask me what is the movie about because people often don't want to watch what they don't understand....I explain this is the Latina "Waiting to Exhale"...trust me it's a great compliment! I love both movies but simple minds need simple explanations, get it! It's an excellent movie if you've never seen it, just rent it!
