      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Unapologetically silly and all the more entertaining for it, M3GAN is the rare horror-comedy that delivers chuckles as effortlessly as chills.

Alex Parra Unexpected surprise! Megan is smart, fun, and thrilling! The film knows its campy horror, which is a perfect approach for this concept! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/26/23 Full Review La'Justin Literally one of the best movies I've seen in a while. A nice mix of thriller and sci-fi that goes deeper and makes you feel and think about how technology is changing our interpersonal relationships. It was even better than what the trailers made me anticipate. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/09/23 Full Review Google I loved this movie so much. I went to the Williamsburg cinemas and it was packed but so much fun. The whole theater was laughing at some point. I also think that this movie would be great for some pre-teens aswell. If your looking for a serious horror flim this is NOT your flim. On the other hand if you are looking for a stupid silly movie this is great. I enjoyed it! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/03/23 Full Review Jesse R decent thriller.. fun to watch.. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/28/23 Full Review Rease Another generic intelligent Chucky movie Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/09/23 Full Review BlitzComet very interesting movie concept wish there was more to it but it's a good stepping stone Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Philip De Semlyen Time Out M3GAN rollicks along with all the slickness and shocks you’d expect from a film produced by Insidious’s James Wan. It always keeps you in on the joke -- and it’s a killer joke. Rated: 4/5 Jan 24, 2023 Full Review Christy Lemire FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) I love this movie so much, and had the absolute best time. Jan 18, 2023 Full Review Stephen Romei The Australian The ending is predictable, as it is on a roller coaster, but it's a thrilling ride all the same. For Wan's Atomic Monster Productions and Blumhouse Productions it may be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Jan 17, 2023 Full Review Robert Roten Laramie Movie Scope This is a very well made and entertaining horror film, maybe the best I've seen since 'The Invisible Man' (2020). Rated: B Jan 27, 2024 Full Review Jackson Weaver CBC News M3GAN is chaotic, dumb — and nearly perfect. It's an off-the-wall, irreverent, and absolutely on-target sci-fi slasher-satire about a killer-kid robot ... [that] accomplishes nearly everything it attempts, and everything the buzz promised. Rated: 4/5 Oct 16, 2023 Full Review Nadine Whitney Mr. Movie's Film Blog Sometimes you know when something has cult-classic written all over it, and although M3GAN might be too of the moment to achieve that, it certainly has camp-classic stamped on it.
