Christopher G This movie was utter trash, I am all for the love story, but there are some aspects that I hated 1. Why was the Bully Bo an absolute Psychopath, he almost killed Bridger at graduation, and he got himself arrested, Why are bullies in film always depicted as psychopaths, no bully in the real world is a Psycho also none of the Teachers did anything about him, Roman knew that he was dangerous and warned him but he never stopped his violent outbursts. Imagine throwing your future away 2. Why have Bridger survive the beating he got at graduation just to have him Die at the end, just either not have the beating happen or have him die in hospital, there was no point having him survive just to kill him at the end. 3. We never heard whether Bo's goons got arrested, we needed confirmation that they were all punished 4. Even if the cast is not that well known, I love how they portrayed their characters. Bridger, the main character, is outstanding: his facial expressions, varying emotions, and actions carry the story from beginning to end. Clover, the other misfit, also contributed to making the story believable and romantic. I love how she acted shy and insecure until she got to know Bridger in-depth and the two fell in love. The bully, Bo, makes you truly despise his character, till he gets what he deserves in the end. I wasn't ready for the ending but, I suppose this is what makes the movie so realistic, making the viewers feel what the characters feel. I'd highly recommend this film. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/09/23 Full Review Ryan B I've certainly seen worse, but the script could have *almost* been salvaged if the two lead 'teens' had been played by appropriately busted-looking outcasts instead of runway models with some eyeliner on them for 'scarring.' It would have also been helpful if anyone involved had ever tried to get a child into a high school mid-year, or seen an actual game of dodgeball once in their life. As it was, the movie could never decide if it wanted to be a lifetime special or a teen dramady, and as a result did neither well. Even the tired cliches it leaned on were mixed. It's an excellent movie if you want to see a model and an attractive twentysomething actress cavorting with occasional bursts of what popular kids think teen trauma looked like.
