Sean Gilman The Chinese Cinema As Fate works toward its inevitable ends through coincidence and chance, so life comes from death, clarity from lunacy, and power to the powerless. Nov 11, 2023 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix This frequently bizarre and psychedelic-looking murder mystery isn't for everyone, but there's enough to hold viewer interest until the very end. Rated: 4/5 Aug 11, 2023 Full Review Harris Dang Their Own League Mad Fate is an unruly and emotional thrill ride about predestination with the same genre shifting, nihilistic storytelling and culturally significant viewpoints that made director Soi Cheang a talented filmmaker. Rated: 4/5 Aug 4, 2023 Full Review Panos Kotzathanasis Asian Movie Pulse “Mad Fate” is not a bad film at all, with the entertainment the movie emits actually extending from beginning to end. The biggest problem, though, is that Cheang set the level rather high with “Limbo”, and however good “Mad Fate” is, it is not that good Rated: 6.5 Jul 8, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
