After avenging the death of his wife and young son at the hands of a vicious gang leader, Max (Mel Gibson) drives the post-apocalyptic highways of the Australian outback, fending off attacks from nomadic tribes that prey on outsiders. Falling into an encampment led by the relatively peaceful Pappagallo (Mike Preston), Max at first schemes to steal their oil, but soon becomes the group's reluctant defender against the hulking Humungus (Kjell Nilsson) and his ruthless marauders.

Filme legal pra caralho, o roteiro é muito bom, o vilão é bacana, mas o que torna o filme melhor são as cenas de ação que são muito boas, gostei da cena do mad max dirigindo o caminhão e enfrentando a gang dos motoqueiros com um pouco de ajuda de pessoas que estavam morando no lugar para refugiados, e um detalhe, no filme tinha um buzzer mini helicóptero que tem um igual no jogo far cry 4, esse filme foi melhor do que o primeiro com mais ação e um pouco menos de diálogo e eu recomendo muito esse filme.

A + This is the perfect sci-fi movie. Great story, great cast, great action. This is a perfect movie for sci-fi fans. No post-apocalyptic movie compares. All the Mad Max movies are good— it’s quite possibly the best franchise with more than 3 movies. And this is the best of the bunch, although Fury Road hits higher notes in some areas. George Miller needs a star in Hollywood if he doesn’t have one. The dude is a genius.

A big improvement from the original (which really isn’t worth watching). Borderline iconic post-apocalyptic film with some well designed sets and characters. The vehicle chase scenes are top notch and an epic conclusion. The movie that made Mel Gibson a star.
