Years after the collapse of civilization, the tyrannical Immortan Joe enslaves apocalypse survivors inside the desert fortress the Citadel. When the warrior Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron) leads the despot's five wives in a daring escape, she forges an alliance with Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy), a loner and former captive. Every scene was a repeat of the one before, I had no interest in any of the characters or cared if they lived or died in one of a hundred horrible ways. Truth is, if it wasn't so violently loud I would have fallen asleep, which would have been a much better use of my time.
