"Makeup" starts off with a promising and intriguing beginning, drawing the viewer in with its mysterious atmosphere and plot. However, as the movie progresses, it takes a horribly disappointing turn, veering off course and concluding with a completely unrelated and unsatisfying ending that seemed like it was trying to make some vague social commentary rather than bring the movie to a conclusion. The initial mystery that hooked the audience is left unresolved, making the film feel like a complete waste of time. Life is precious. Do not waste it.

I was expecting a much different movie than what was presented and for that reason this is a total disaster. We are taken down a suspenseful path and are in the middle of a riddle when the film takes a sharp left turn and turns into a romantic drama. Just didn't work. Entertaining, but immensely frustrating. Final Score: 3.5/10
