Audience Member Hugely disappointing story about a family's misfortunes in a small Sicilian fishing town which reminded me of a 1960's BBC drama aimed at teenagers. The plot doesn't make sense, the acting is stilted and the film is simply put... boring. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Sicilian fishermen try to hold their family together, despite all the pressures of an ever changing world, the lure of work on the mainland, the power of the local criminal gangs. This beautifully understated film has a timeless quality, possibly due to its source material. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
