Stephen C LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A revealing documentary that takes a "hands off" approach to the telling of Malcolm X's life. Untraditionally, the film uses no real "narration"; instead, James Earl Jones reads small excerpts from X's autobiography, which kind of glue different segments of his life together via different sources of public media. The film is mostly worth seeing as a truncated collection of some of X's most powerful speeches; to see Malcolm X- one of the most extraordinary public speakers of all time- deliver these rattling performances is to witness some of the most important advancements in this country's history. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member I have never heard "The N Word" so many times! All it really was, was a bunch of clips of Malcolm X mixed in with some occasional narration. 5.0 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Judith Crist New York Magazine/Vulture It stands as a vital record of a man of our time, that rare man who grew and changed and tempered his views to his intellectual maturity alone -- and never to the times.
