Tom L I just created an account specifically to review this movie. As a long time fan of horror movies I can get enjoyment out of some of the cheesiest horror movies *cough* Tarot im looking at you *cough*. However, this is one of worst movies I have ever watched in my life. The beginning starts out slow. Not an issue right? Well that beginning consists of 6/8 of the movie. My wife got up to use the bathroom when stuff started to finally happen about an hour in and I thought “man, they must wrap it up in the last hour.” There were 20 minutes left… I can name two of the characters after watching it. Jackson, because they say his name every five seconds and Ethan (who my wife just told me is actually named Elijah), because of the ungodly amount of damage that man took and lived. Then there was Black haired girl who was the main protagonist and her mom died or something and Blondie who I forgot existed until the end of the movie where she became relevant for two minutes. Cant forget the antagonist, Norman Bates… I mean Hermon… Henry? In conclusion. This story was an absolute slog. Like walking through knee deep viscous mud trying to steal your boots. By the end of this we were praying the protagonist would go supersaiyan or that the Koolaid man would bust through the wall accidentally killing the antagonists. Don’t waste your time. Seriously don’t! Ps. Why the heck did the grandma use a bone saw as an axe on Ethan? Like wtf people? They make axes. Did you waste the budget on shots following black hair girl walking? PSS.
