When a mysterious man named Rantes (Hugo Soto) appears at an Argentinian psychiatric hospital, he gains the attention of Dr. Julio Denis (Lorenzo Quinteros), a sympathetic psychiatrist working through his own unhappiness. Rantes tells Dr. Denis he's an extraterrestrial, sent to Earth to observe humans' illogical behavior firsthand. But Rantes must be treated like any other patient, even against Dr. Denis's own judgment, leading to a division between hospital patients and staff.
