Audience Member This film has two big names in it: Donald Sutherland, who is an actor whose work I have always admired, and Larry Mullen Jr., the drummer for U2, my favorite rock group. As much as I love these two people, I have to admit this film is not that easy to watch. It is a long and involved story about two people with two different personalities, one who planning to rob a bank. There is not much action until the end of the film; most of it is about the relationship and character analysis. If you are interested in a movie that examines the characters' personalities, you may find it interesting. Others may find it dull. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Impressive acting, good story even if is very predictable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Frances H Good remake of the French original, with a good performance by Donald Sutherland of the grand old man character. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/27/13 Full Review Audience Member Worth watching for Sutherland...is somewhat slow and boring at times but worth waiting those out. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Apparently this is a remake from the 2002 L'homme du train. I have never been a fan of Donald Sutherland but his character is so convincing you get absorbed in the intense dialog with Larry Mullen Jr. Their short friendship is so intense, they create such a strong bond that seem to know no boundaries. I liked it so much, that now I want to watch the French version as I'm sure something got lost in translation. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I have not seen the original but this was a very poetic and moving film that I enjoyed watching...
