See more 03/03/2012 Somebody wanted to make a modern version of The Fly but just ended up making something so bad the movie is almost laughable. See more 03/05/2011 Here's a story for ya....when Steve & I were in China with our tour group one night, driving on our bus from city to city (between Shouzhou & Hanzhou I believe) they played THIS movie for us!! We wondered why the Chinese thought Americans would love to watch a movie like Mansquito?! I think our tour guide called it something else, but I was excited that I recognized Parker Lewis in it & we just couldn't stop laughing that out of the millions of movies out there, our tour guide was so happy to bust out a VHS of "Mansquito" for us =) On SyFy right now, reminded me of our adventure.... See more 12/30/2010 It's "The Fly" revisited when an escaped con gets bitten by gen-manipulated mosquitos. Solid monster- and gross other effects. The storyline is botchy so this works only on a camp level. Fun. See more 05/14/2010 ha! They didnt even show the name Mansquito here, ridiculous!Not bad actually, for a low budget B movie. The acting is alright, not so good for Corin i thought. Beginning scenes are well done with the prissoner. but then some obvious animated mosquito-arms, just briefly when changing. but the rest is a very goos suit, probably mechanically adjusted. All to bring an exciting story of which the ending is pretty sure, although she gets some chemicals on her arm too, hmmm... fishy at most points but not bad! See more Read all reviews
