Tom Keogh Seattle Times Based on the engrossing web series "Marble Hornets," this unnerving ghost story presents random, split-second appearances by a faceless, silent ghoul ... that presage a lethal insanity overtaking his victims. Rated: 3/4 May 14, 2015 Full Review Jon Espino The Young Folks This is not the Marble Hornets we have come to know and love/fear. Rated: 4/10 May 16, 2015 Full Review Dann Gire Chicago Daily Herald The most boring and ponderously paced entry in the "found footage" genre I have seen so far. May 14, 2015 Full Review Matt Donato We Got This Covered The Operator might always be watching, but in an unfortunate turn of events, his deadly presence isn't felt in the horrific way that the legend describes. Michael B Very Entertaining An Highly SCARY.😱😱😱😱 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/11/24 Full Review Seth P they should make a sequel but with the original cast 👍 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/06/23 Full Review sean s Basically, a well-made home movie using found footage about some boogie man in a suit and head stocking tormenting people. Another offering for Amazon Prime's Horror Genre' section. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This doesn't even deserve half a star. It's an unworthy follow-up to the incredible Marble Hornets. Don't waste your time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member An overall enjoyable watch. Definitely a small scale, low budget movie that tries to appeal to fans of the Slenderman mythos. Eerie and subtle moments have you looking over the main character's shoulders, and the actors give a very lifelike performance. The main issue with this film was pacing, it takes a very long time to pick up and even when it does it slows down again much too often. Less silence and more character building would have elevated the film, as well as more chilling moments of dread and helplessness. If you aren't a fan of the the web series this is based on, you may feel somewhat underwhelmed. However, for fans of the mythos this an enjoyable watch that deserves more attention. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member If you're looking for "Marble Hornets" frankly, look elsewhere. this movie is poorly paced, the plot is poorly conceived, the characters flat and uninteresting. In comparison to Marble Hornets itself, this movie is a travesty. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
