Critics Consensus

Dull and unfunny, Marmaduke offers family filmgoers little more than another round of talking animals and scatological humor.

Anna Smith metro.co.uk That Marmaduke makes a point of farting when Phil and Debbie kiss sums up the film's level of appeal. Rated: 2/5 Aug 23, 2018 Full Review Nell Minow Movie Mom Rated: C Feb 18, 2012 Full Review Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard Spectacularly sentimental, full of ridiculous computer-animated action, and makes sure its animals are a good deal less pallid than the humans on view. Rated: 1/5 Aug 26, 2010 Full Review Rene Jordan El Nuevo Herald (Miami) Marmaduke is exclusively manufactured for child use, and analyzing it would be equal to discussing the design of a rattle. Emmett F Marmaduke is a funny movie for adults and kids that shows us life lessons in funny ways Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/10/24 Full Review Jess M The family loved this movie. Hard to find movies that parents and kids want to watch that aren’t cartoons. This actually made me want to buy a Great Dane. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/13/24 Full Review Keith S This movie is absolute dog 💩 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/09/24 Full Review Warriorcatsobsessed 2 If I could rate zero stars, I would. This is probably the worst movie that I have ever watched and I can't believe I even watched till the end. It's so unoriginal and I think it should be 0% on rotten tomatoes. If you want to traumatise your kids, make them watch this stupid movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/09/24 Full Review Pillow R I never understood the hate for this movie. I will forever defend this movie. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/20/24 Full Review Matthew O Marmaduke is a must see film of the century. The fake critics can't fathom the brilliance and intelligence of Tom Dey and George Lopez. This film has touched the hearts of the children across Russia. Just to get a taste of the oc. The scenery and dog park screams California and I love it. It makes me feel like a true oc boi. The film make me laugh. The film make my cry but I always leave with a smile on my face. After watching this incredible piece of art all I can say I went in a oc boi and came out an oc man. Stay strong y'all this film won't be ridiculed forever and will become Russia's favourite pass time. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Read all reviews
