Marketing executive Martin Flam (Ian Roberts) is traumatized after his faulty costume design results in a man's death. When his attempt at suicide fails, he seeks the help of psychiatrist Dr. Eric Orloff (Matt Walsh). But Orloff's highly unorthodox techniques lead to a series of misadventures with a parade of unstable characters, including Army veteran Keith (Jon Benjamin), Orloff's girlfriend, Kashia (Kim Raver), a jealous ex-football player and the director of a local dinner theater.
