Victor O I'm on a roll with Disney's Marvel Rising specials as Heart of Iron is the next story on my list. I watch these principally for Ghost-Spider and the rest of the characters as secondary. Though I am happy with cameos from Iron Man and Captain Marvel. This episode made me anxious by having to deal with Iron Heart. I am not a Marvel Comics fan, being more entertained by the movies and shows than the original stories. To be honest it is rather embarrassing when new characters are created to spin off from a much more popular character when it feels forced. Thankfully, this wasn't as bad as I feared it would be. Trouble happens as the group of young Avenger's heroes take on a foe with apparent assistance from the Iron Man himself. Only things are not what they seem. Riri Williams, a young girl, has taken it upon herself to create a suit of armor resembling the invincible Avenger. From here comes a decent story of a girl wanting badly to use her intelligence in a manner of her choosing and it's not half bad. Still, it does feel a bit forced at times and I can see why some fans are against this new comic book character. I'm just glad that my favorite character was still in this story as well as the others I enjoyed. Especially since the other basis of this story was the kids learning to work as a team. Not bad at all. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
