Thomas H It was great to see Mary Tyler Moore and Valerie Harper working together again, but I can see why CBS passed on this TV movie. The script wasn't good. Mary's perfect life after her stint at WJM was quite sappy, but not as sappy as her precious news story that an entire bar in NYC stopped to watch. Then everyone in the bar wept. Sappy, unrealistic, and narcissistic to the main character. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/24 Full Review Audience Member This movie did not hold a dimly lit candle to the TV show.
