Catherine Black is a brilliant, ruthless businesswoman who runs a top hedge fund in L.A. But below her fabulous, feminine ice-cold public facade, she is privately -- and proudly -- a murderous psychopath. Enter Tyler Jones, a handsome young conman who turns up at Catherine's Malibu mansion by a too-good-to-be-true listing for a "room for rent." Unfortunately, Tyler is unaware he's about to turn out to be her next victim. After being roofied and romanced by Catherine and her slinky model girlfriend, Tyler is swept up in his new life of riches and romance -- blissfully ignorant that in between her board meetings and spin classes, Catherine partakes in serial murders and gruesome dismemberments. But sex and a stolen vintage Mustang (with a corpse crammed in the trunk) complicate their mutual scheming. And when Tyler discovers of a freezer full of body parts in her garage, Catherine uses everything -- including a broken martini glass, a hedge trimmer, a crossbow, and a chainsaw -- to break up and chop up Tyler. All while struggling to keep his blood and her Bordeaux off the custom-made white couches. So, will the Guy get the Girl or will the Girl gut the Guy?

Brian Lowry CNN.com Satirizing this genre requires more finesse than the movie brings to it, and setting the aforementioned violence or a threesome to music isn't daring, but simply dull. Feb 17, 2021 Full Review Gary M. Kramer Salon.com It may be totally ridiculous...but to the film's credit, all of the scenes set to the wall-to-wall upbeat '80s soundtrack are slightly irresistible. "Me You Madness" is certainly audacious, which is why it is attention-getting. Bryan G Louise Linton, producer, director, writer, lead, and her character “Catherine”, do not disappoint! The woman who posed with a sheet of bank notes at the Treasury with her husband, the then U.S. Treasurer Steve Mnuchin, surely has embodied that playful alter ego in “Catherine”. If Tik Tok were a movie, this is it. Catherine and her fantastically sexy wardrobe and influencer body will drop you in your tracks. More twists and turns than a stripper pole, awesome throwback music, and Louise Linton! One crazy ride, and that’s just the “tip”! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/25 Full Review Erica E Totally unexpectedly hilarious & witty! I put it on for background noise as i wrapped Christmas presents thinking it was just some girly trashy flick, and FORGOT to wrap even one! It’s so entertaining! Even my fiancé stopped looking at his phone to shake his head & laugh! The chemistry between the two main characters make for fun, clever & ridiculous entertainment! I think it’s cute. Definitely don’t regret watching it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/06/24 Full Review Lucy F This had such promise. Cool, American Psycho concept. Main character seemed a bit weak. Made little sense toward the end. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/10/24 Full Review Craig Very well written, methodical, with a funky energy between the two. Doesn't take itself too serious. A little bizarre at times but fun. Loved the 80s music as well. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Super film, a great moment of fun, an actress at the top for a character as degent as endearing. This improbable and incredible scenario makes this film a perfect success. We would definitely ask for an extra dose. Thank you for this moment of relaxation as surprising as bewitching. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Amanda T You Me Madness is on the TOP of my list of all-time favorite films. I am a fan and a movie lover. I am not a critic. And that's what will set my review apart from someone being paid to tell you what you should watch....and let me tell you, this is easily a work of cinematic and comedic genius. SO easy to fall in love with. First off, it's one of the smartest and funniest films that I've seen in a long time. Every scene shows that attention has been paid to the smallest detail- in order to make this film great. Every time I watch it, I find something new, which also makes it fun- in and of itself. The critics seem to judge this movie as if they hadn't even watched it. It's seemingly been critiqued by those who are being paid to control a certain narrative, and not the film itself. But you should definitely decide for yourself and have a movie night! ;) Louise Linton, who wrote and directed this film, also happens to be the star of it, and *SHE* is a bright light in this industry. She is brilliant, funny, smart, and is not basic in any way, shape, or form. She illuminates every scene- and you won't know whether you want to be her or be her best friend. (Even if she is a homicidal maniac!) Ed Westwick was cast perfectly as a cocky, yet remarkably charming con man. He is quick- whether sparring verbally or physically. Even though we know both characters are not the nicest, one can't help but love both of them through the ensuing insanity... and it is SO much fun. Every second is filled this dark humor, and so many sly jokes, you'll want to watch it more than just once. Me You Madness, from a FAN'S POV, is a genius composition made up of hard work, passion, and a LOT of talent. Beauty AND brains and so much more. Ms. Linton's next movie is surely going to be amazing- so get on board now. You'll thank me later. :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/05/22 Full Review Read all reviews
