Peggy C This movie is pretty bad. The whole story makes zero sense. The scenery is lovely, but you can get that on a Youtube channel. I thought the actors did well with what they had to work with. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/15/24 Full Review Mike B I really wanted this to fly... but it never got off the ground. The script was so fluffy and just not credible. The 1.5 star is for the Scottish scenery which would have been more interesting in a You Tube walking tour video of Scotland. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/08/24 Full Review Hugh G Really enjoyed it. Great cast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/24/24 Full Review Jacques O Cute and witty and thoroughly enjoyable to watch. It is a feel-good movie, intended to take the viewer to a better place for a couple of hours, and for the most part I think they succeeded. The filming locations were lovely, the cast was lovely, and the Scottish accent toned down a bit for American ear but still exotic enough. Sure, the film has some problems and errors, but I do not think they were shooting for the Oscars. It is a rom-com, it needs to be graded on its own curve. Five stars for the achingly handsome and personable Finlay Bain who carried this film and made it so pleasurable to watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/18/24 Full Review Dan A A fun sweet story, fantastic scenery, a bit unrealistic, but aren't all good comedies? Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/24 Full Review Read all reviews
