This came out in 2010, you know what else came out in 2010? "Piranha 3D", the Asylum isn't content ripping off the mega blockbusters anymore, they're now ripping off low budget Roger Corman movies. Not just the larger prehistoric Piranhas of "Piranha 3D" but elements of the first "Piranha" movie from 1978. Heading down the river to the open ocean, except the 1978 fish was genetically crossed with Salmon, because Piranhas are fresh water fish and the open ocean would kill them otherwise. It was never mention that. But since they think going UP a river will lead the open ocean, it's clear directors Eric Forsberg and Stuart Gillard failed basic high school science. Plus the shit Asylum CGI goes without saying. This is one fishing trip I'd pass on if I was you. It's not so bad it's good, it's so bad it's AWFUL.

For me, this is one of those movies that is SO awful that I enjoyed it. Horrible script. Mediocre acting. Wonderfully laughable special effects. And, Greg Brady (aka, Barry Williams) in a pivotal role. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I've seen some really horrid movies before but this is absolutely one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Laughably abysmal acting, completely unoriginal story and graphics so horrible that a 7 year old could make more believable graphics.
