Megan K I think too many people give low ratings to movies when they disturb them or leave them with too dark of a feeling. When a movie stays with you long after you’ve seen it, that’s the mark of a 5-star film, not the opposite. That said, this movie is incredibly dark and much more so than I anticipated. It’s a bit slow at first, but it’s worth sticking with until it picks up. There are some very disturbing images and scenes, and I was left feeling pretty crummy when it was over. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/25/25 Full Review Noe H Do not watch this movie, I watched it as a teenager and a lot of the scenes still disturb me to this day. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/23/25 Full Review Rihannna H Ok soo… I was debating watching this I was scared to watch it but I finally decided to, I thought it was based on a real story and I thought the “photo #1 and photo #2” were real but ig it’s not. It was kinda boring in the beginning and the acting wasn’t that good, but as it went on a little I’d say after that party scene it got a little more entertaining, but this movie creeped me out I was planning on walking around my room but I was literally too scared to get up… and that basement scene I kept turning my phone backwards a little cuz I was scared of seeing something bad. My heart was beating so fast when I saw Megan in the barrel STOPP 😭 it’s probably just scarier watching it for the first time if I watched it again it prob wouldn’t be so bad Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/18/25 Full Review Marc C First the negatives: 1. I haven't seen a movie with such egregiously over aged "teens" since "Napolean Dynamite". They were fine actresses, but set it on a college campus at least. 2. All the tired teen tropes are represented in spades: the mean girls, the isolated loaner, the ridiculously inflated drug-related high school parties etc. Now , for the good. This movie is to the modern generation what "Go Ask Alice" was to mine: a stark warning about the dangers of doing stupid sh@t because of youthful naivety. It is also incredibly creative in its brutality. Even for the hardened horror fan, you just may have to remind yourself that it isn't really happening.. A good movie for the flu sufferers , the hungover, and cinema fans who delight in the truly macabre. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/16/25 Full Review Obi-wan K Did they have to put in those pics? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 05/14/25 Full Review Audience Member It’s alright, but there are many timeline mistakes in the movie. Also, the acting is painfully bad which makes it hard to watch.
