After a while, an unproductive restlessness sets in as you wait for the characters to matter as much as the silky moves and painstaking details. Horror Go to Full Review

I was never, even for one second, feeling the length... I found it so unsettling and sinister. At moments it was a little uneven, but it's so watchable and gets under your skin in a really creepy way. Go to Full Review

Midsommar was everything I wanted it to be, and I had high expectations. It’s a breath of fresh air in the horror genre, and like Hereditary, takes a lot of concepts from older horror movies and melds them to create a new and compelling story for today. Go to Full Review

Aster delights in putting Midsommar’s horrific sights on full display, treating them with a banality that’s as striking as it is familiar. As a result, the sun-lit insanity elevates over two-and-a-half hours to incendiary heights. Go to Full Review

Wanye Aug 12 I understand the hype!! See more Christine O 10/27/2023 This movie is brilliant. My complaint is that the theater falsely advertised a showing of the director's cut, but only showed the original. See more 01/14/2020 One of the best horror movies of the past decade... maybe ever. Ari Aster proves himself to be no one-hit wonder. A masterclass in how to make your audience really, really uncomfortable. Beautifully shot. Incredible art direction and production design. Florence Pugh delivers yet another brilliant performance in 2019 (it really is the Year of the Pugh). See this movie. See more Beth 11/07/2019 This movie could have been better it started out dark got sicker and ended sick. I’m not into this sort of thing though. See more 09/05/2019 Garbage. Pure tripe. Talk about a 100% waste of money. This was one of those "horror" movies that has a great setup, and literally no logical or movie-logic to hold it together. Don't bother. Really.
